But that's only fun for one day. Then I just lose interest in that coral cuz it grows so slooooooow

Hahahaha, buy some xenia. Grows fast and aftermath will keep you occupied.

You'll be surprised. Give your corals some hands off time and it'll start to grow faster. I have a blue/purple tabling-branching colony that, once I started to leave it alone, just took off in terms of growth. It grows about 1+" per branch every month and makes about 3+ new branches per branch per month. It's freaking nuts. You could probably sit there and watch it grow.

Tweak your growth and get it to fill in!
