This is great I'm hoping to do a 10 footer in the next year or so built into a wall similar to your setup. Will your filtration be under the tank or in a separate room?

The plan was under the tank because i prefer everything at the same place so it is easier to see what is going on but i may change my mind and have it in another room to avoid the the pump noise.

Thanks for everyone input, now pressure is on lol

sorry, it has been a very slow process, but anyway, the tank was got built on site last Friday and right now it is sitting in the middle of the floor :-(. I did not put lots of throughout thoughts into building this tank thus I am getting sloppy result. Couple mistakes i made so far (already yes already)

1) I initially gonna put sump under my stand, so i build stand higher than normal to fit my skimmer, but now i decide to put sump in the other room so it is kind of suck now i can't reach the bottom of my tank without a step.

2) Did not leave any room behind the tank so it is going to be suck to reach the back side of the tank (now the frame and floor is in, nothing i can do to fix it although i have the space to do it)

Again, i wish i have more time to think more about designing of my system but just can't find time with all workloads i currently have.

So here is the pict of the tank right now, thanks to Dave at Concept Aquariums and Denny(reefwars) to help putting this together

Next, need to find some helpers to put the tank in place. It is so heavy. Any volunteers? :-) pizza and drink will be served

I did, actually we did with help from Dave and Denny and some good friends.

Here is picture as of today

now, looking for panels and cabinet that can fit well with it. Did not really plan out this tank at all and now everything will have to custom to fit this bad boy

Al right, I guess i am the slowest person of all on here. Just got some spare time and motivation to get this tank going. So today, I moved the tank to final position and start filling tank for leak test. So far so good, no leak :-). Next is plumbing which should be complete on Sunday hopefully.
