![]() You should rent a car - cuz that's the best way to cover the distance between the stores. There is no store in Toronto proper that I can recommend, however, there are a number of good stores in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) that have already been mentioned. In no specific order:
1) North American Fish Breeders (NAFB): Located in Scarborough For coral price, this one of the best places. Generally most things are $40 for a colony. Some items a bit higher. They also have a $10 frag section. 2) Sea U Marine (SUM): Located in Markham The Best variety of Marine fish in the GTA generally. Coral prices range from $45 and up but generally speaking the quality is a bit better than NAFB. Rare/ ultra items are appropriately priced. 3) Reef Raft: Located in Mississauga Generally the best quality and color of coral found in the GTA - BUT, be prepared to pay FAR more than you would for similar items in other stores. 4) Aquatic Kingdom: Located in Mississauga Generally speaking I wouldn't have mentioned it except for the fact that a few weeks back I passed by and saw a handful of really nice and rare corals that grabbed my attention. Worth the mention as the store is just 2 or 3 blocks down from Reef Raft on the same street so you might as well check them out too. The addresses and phone numbers can be googled as all 3 stores have web presence. |

![]() Thanks
![]() Oh yeah, forgot to mention, if you do plan to purchase, best to bring some cash as most stores are cash and carry. Last edited by RESONANCE; 05-31-2012 at 01:29 AM. |

![]() Oakville reef gallery is pretty decent too... also noticed a placed a called Reef Maniac
1539 Dundas Street W. (lower level, rear of building) Toronto, Ontario M6K 1T6 from an ad on kijiji.... really good prices and pics look promising but I have never been. Ive also been dying to check this place out and will be doing so when I head back east in a few weeks. http://www.coralreefshop.com/ . From ads theyve had on other forums they look to be extremely legit with rock bottom prices. But again I cannot be 100 percent about that as I have never been. |

![]() Also if you are going to check out NAFB you should call them and see when there shipments are comming in. Usual business is: massively large shipment comes in and will be posted a few days in advance online with livestock list and prices. That day comes and the next day the stock is gone, well most of the the nice stuff atleast.

![]() Also worth mentioning, you wont find 80% of the corals they sell in other stores....and there are no stores similar to RR. If I were to visit one store while you were here, visit RR. They always have nice stuff around, unlike most stores. You can also drive by 3 other fish stores within 5 minutes, on the same street.

Not to mention the sh*tstorm Stateside from six years ago? *shakes head
