I won't give you any advice but I'm glad to hear that your move went well which is a relief (to all of us I think

). I'd be a bit worried about the "fish storage" issue as well but it seems like you're sort of caught between a rock and a a hard place (no pun intended). The 100lbs of uncycled is really sketchy? Thats a lot of rock to be mixing in with your 150lbs, if it was only 40 or 50 I'd say go for it but....

It's too late for this now but it's too bad you hadn't found a friend to setup a fish storage tank to keep them a month or two that was cycled and of a suitable size. Sounds a bit scary putting them in the large tank and less scary to keep them at RCE. Glad the sps are doing good so far!

I could babysit as many as you needed buddy I have no fish in my tank that would bother them

Actually the 100 pounds in the tank came from Red coral and has been kept in a rubbermaid with SW heater and powerhead for the past 6 months. I've had that 100 pounds in the display for a week now and tested everything and got 0 readings. Seems like the rock is cycled but even I was shocked that ammonia nitrite and nitrate was all at 0. However I'm sure when he moves his rock up it will cause a spike or mini cycle of some sort. Then we still have to scape it and add sand

get yourself a power inverter to keep the rock warm and power head running while transporting or find someone who has one and borrow it. it may help keep it stable.
