![]() Well, yesterday I got all crazy with the collection cup and got it clean
What was on the inside of it was epoxy residue and I feel it was restricting it's function. I couldn't slide a wet finger over it due to how sticky it was So, I cringed a little and cleaned it out with isopropyl alcohol. Then I washed it really well with vinegar, and finally water It's working great now. Bubbles are rising and I can clean it out without scrubbing I DONT recommend this as a solution for you all as it's really hard on the acrylic |

![]() Did that effect the transparency of the acrylic?
I ask because my top-down acrylic photo box is totally stained from having epoxy on my hands when I'm mounting frags. |

![]() Hey Brett
No, it didn't affect the transparency at all, but it did leave 'evidence' internally, within the glass I used 99% isopropyl alcohol 'cause that's what I had for cleaning glass before siliconing It didn't melt the acrylic Just test a piece first to judge your 'on' time |
