Sure does, it helps hide the powerheads a bit too. I'm considering painting the return black but we'll see.

yeah the little one is just fixed on the tank all the time now that she can focus more

Have you given any thought to replacing the return with Sch80 parts ?
Once it corallines over, it may hide it well enough
No down time waiting for paint to dry
Your tank - it's just that I'm against paint in the water, regardless of how harmless it's been for people in the past
