How did you prepare the Marco rock for your tank?

Not sure if this is what you are asking but I let the Marco rock soak for a week in RO water. I tested the water for Phos and there was very little increase so it was hardly leaching phosphates. For good measure, I changed the water and let them soak for a few more days testing for phosphates again and seeing no increase. Rinsed the rocks off and put them in the tank!

Good to hear, put 50lbs into a Brute container today of DI water after rinsing them all. Will test, then change the water a few times and then test to see what's what.

sounds like a good plan to me. ive heard stories of the rocks not leaching anything and ive heard stories of them leaching lots, so better to be safe than sorry!
