No, I haven't found that. And unless you get an emerald crab that swallows them whole, they're still getting popped

I use this, I made it from an old scraper I had, I sharpened the end with a file, just start a siphon and gouge them off and suck the out, turn off all pumps first, works great.

When I find some I scrape them off when I'm doing a water change so that even if they pop and were to release anything most if not all would get siphoned off.
