if he's mantis food, make sure you keep an eye on him, cause he does look mean enough to eat a mantis, try and get the battle on video!!!

Pretty sure thats a Charybdis japonica, or Asian paddle crab, looks alot like him and if you look up more swimming crabs of the family Portunidae there arnt many that look like that. Should check out google for the latin name there and know this is not a reef safe crab either way, if it has paddles like that it can swim after health fish and most like will eat anything it can catch. Hope that helps
