really? rude?? im making a offer on something that is worth what i said, so therefore i find it rude for you trying to make a 100.00 off something that is not worth that much!!!! i didnt undercut nothing.. get a grip and read properly.. as you can see from previous post from people, they are also skeptical about how you are trying to sell
stuff so if you cant handle the truth then head out.

It is rude.
If you don't end up buying the light, others will see what you posted and therefore be less likely to pay close to what he's asking, not based on what the product is actually worth, but a perceived value based on what you said. The canopy is $150 brand new. It might not be worth $100 to you, but he's certainly not trying to rip anyone off. If you go to a used car lot and would like to buy a car for less than what they are asking you have a private conversation with the salesman. Try standing in the middle of the sales floor and cut down the car loud enough so all the other customers can hear and see how long you are welcome. All I'm saying is make the offer and comments in private. It's common courtesy on any forum. fwiw, I have the same canopy and it works great for freshwater. edit:sorry didn't see your reply aquattro.
