I sometimes think clams are just like anemones, they are happy as can be for week and then one day they decide they want to see what's on the other side of the tank.

Could be a difference in flow causing this.

Yep, i have my maxima clam on the sand and he's looking great. Under AI Sols. Great LED lights by the way.

I also had the same thing going on. Little bugger would jump off all the rocks that I put him on. I have a crocea clam, so one day I left him in the sand and found that he moved about 4 inches one way in a couple days and hasn't moved since. However, he is anchored to the glass now as I didn't put anything under him so there he will stay.
