they should trade it for iginla
You must be kidding. Iggy doesn't have much left, maybe one or two years max. I also doubt he wants to play for the Oilers.

It's obvious that someone in the NHL organization was feeling sorry for the Oilers once again this year.
It's more like somebody just wanting to screw Columbus badly this year.

Wow! If the Oilers can somehow persuade all these top picks to stick around for awhile they're going to be pretty damn good. Until they get better defensively though it may take some time.

It works in Columbus favor as well. With #1 and #2 picks, they can pick both Russians and build their team around those two players.
not good picks, I still have to look at the talent in the draft though and see whats there, never thought we would get 1st this year again, and even so they should probably either take ryan murray or trade it for a top line defence, that is what we're realy lacking.

or maybe even a trade for a good goalie. hmmm

I agree the Oilers need better defence. We have young talent that play well but are getting the sh!t kicked out of them. I can see some over paid under achiever players on the chopping block soon.

Why get rid of Horcoff? I understand he isn't worth his contract but this isn't a cap team so it doesn't matter how much he gets paid. He is a decent 3rd line center, the problem was when he was our first line center, he is far from that now.

(Im not a Horcoff fan at all)

How do you get rid of Kevin Lowe's son-in-law? It's impossible. What? He's not Lowe's son-in-law? Hmm, I have always thought that's the reason he got that big fat contract in the first place. My bad!
