Just wondering why do you think they wouldn't light up your tank?
Is this light calculator not accurate? On the bottom of the calculator page it does say fish only or FOWLR though. Were you planning to keep SPS under these? http://www.jlaquatics.com/product/ld...D+Pendent.html Thank you. Last edited by RuGlu6; 03-31-2012 at 05:09 PM.

Well my new tank is 48x34x30 so I wouldnt want to use the as a primary light with the 30" height or 34" depth and yes it will be primarily sps and will have clams on the bottom. As for the calculator it seems to be fairly accurate. I put the dimensions for the tank I used these on (65g 36x18x24) and it recommended 2 which worked awsome for me. If the up and comming a350 is a strong enough light I will most likely end up with those on my tank. Very happy with these kessils so I am confidant that the 350s will be just as awsome.
