for my last eel i made tunnels under all my rockwork with abs and burried it in sand and rock most times when people came to see my tank they were surprised they didnt even know a eel was in there

I picked up a seafood mix, shrimp, mussels, octopus. Same as what he was being fed. Cut it up into pieces and tried a piece with the tongs. He might not be settled yet.
Picking up some screen material, and will try to make sure there's no way out...only concern is the filter, but will figure something out. That sucks you've lost yours, I can't believe how much I like this guy! Will you have another one?
