Or black acrylic like this wrapped around a glass box. In your case it would be on the inside of the OF box.

Those prices are shocking. While I haven't had any work done in the last two years, SpeeDee glass has done a lot of cutting and drilling for me. Twice I've had them cut and drill some scrap glass to make overflow boxes with and I doubt they charged more than $30 for for them.
