you don't HAVE to run anything....but it sure makes it easier.

Check your po4. You won't keep Sps with phosphates.
If you do need it I prefer phosban. I was keeping orange digi without any gfo or prodibio. But had dull color and no growth. Since I stepped it up everything changed.

I started with a pantyhose with a cup of gfo in it. Just leave it in the path of water in your sump
Then get a reactor later on. They come up here for cheap

What levels you have

Since you don't have skimmers do you just have refuge or what set up
