they like to swim and they like to eat
what they eat:
the bits of green algae that grow on the rocks
new life spectrum marine (contains garlic)
their treats:
omega 1 freeze dried mysis shrimp
tetra micro crabs
seaweed

thank you for taking the time to help me get this sorted out.
just keep swimming swimming swimming......

even with garlic in the nls pellets i would still buy some garlic extract and really soak it in this will help they fight off the parasite.its also important not to stress them out.

Everyone looks much much better.
I hooked up the other pump and they perked up immediately.
I also ordered the filter basket from intank because I find the stock setup pretty ineffective.
yay! thanks!

when I turned the other pump on I noticed there were pinky nail sized white shrimps popping up . What are these ? where did they come from? will my fish eat them

Maybe they are Mysis shrimp.

yeah fuzzy crap photo my 5D is in the shop. (don't drop an slr it makes bad things happen) anyway I'm wanting to turn my lighting to blue maybe the 36 Watt Actinic ? or blue LEDS but I think for the LEDs I would need the mod kit is this correct?

I'd like something like this


how do I set up lighting like that?

I know how you feel I dropped my D700 on the back side (viewfinder), in front of the Sydney Opera house, was still working but cannot manual focus, relied on auofocus, hoping it was OK, $600.00 repair bill.

It was a good thing, it happened on the 2nd last day of my trip.
