I have had 2 and am neutral with them, Ive had a sedra 12000 for a while and have had no problems with it. The other one I have was a sedra 9000 and I have replaced the impeller once on it, but it was covered under warranty and with the new impeller it has very bad problems restarting, about 50 percent of the time it will not restart after being shut off.

We run mainly sedra pumps in our systems, got over 20 of them.
Had to replace impellers on 7 of them after 3.5 years (running 5 years), and 2 pumps went bad, haven't replaced a single impeller or bad pump from Aqua Medic yet. we run Sedra 5000, 9000, 15000, 20000

I've been using KSP 7000 for 4 years. No problems. The thread on the output of the pump is NOT 1/2 npt. It is very close, but is metric. You can run a 1/2" npt tap, or you can use the barbs provide with the pump.
