if you do want to go that route why not have a super high sump on the incase water was to syphon or whatever:P seems like alot of people go for small sumps of 20" or slightly higher/lower on my 90g i use a 75g tank for a sump even if half my tank was to find its way to the sump i would still be covered:P

my 90 has a 20g sump 50 has 33g sump and 180 will have a 50g sump. regretfully all sumps must be below tank. all in all i dont advise ppl too much because i may be liable for my brain activity and its thought patterns lol edit id end up being the cause of a drama run thread lol
