Default anyone use boxee box

I have netflix, it's not bad, but would like to tell bell to jump off a bridge. Anyone using a boxee box to get free tv? Any other solutions out there?

I use boxee box and works good but the key to free TV is downloading your shows through automatic subscriptions. I haven't tried the boxee live, not that convinced it will actually work in all areas...

Boxee Live TV works with signals from HDTV antennas (using ATSC) or an unencrypted cable connection (using ClearQAM). The package includes a portable ATSC digital terrestrial antenna, which can be used within 10 miles of an ATSC transmitter. For users without a strong over the air signal we recommend a roof-top antenna or a basic cable package. It is only compatible with the Boxee Box by D-Link.

I use a program called TED, You have to setup the feeds for each show but I think it does that automatically now. You also need some kind of torrent client, I use Vuze. I run TED and vuze on a spare laptop that's on all the time. I set the target download location to an external hard drive connected to the boxee and shared through the network. The target folder on the drive is scanned hourly by boxee so it works just like a PVR with the exception of being about a day behind.
