as soon as i get glass the problem will be solved

there was no easy way to plumb this tank so i had to rig it. only thing missing is the duct tape

i found an upside i can now see from the basement how far the telepost is away from where the tank sits lol

Sorry to hear about your carpet soaking. Hope all is going well.
I flooded my office last month with 5+ gallons during a sump-bulkhead test. Thankfully it was only freshwater, but I still had to pull everything out of the sump room and dry the plywood floor, underlay and carpet. And this only 1 month after new carpets.
My wife was pretty closed-mouthed about the whole thing. Needless to say she was not impressed, but at least it wasn't saltwater
