![]() I am going to take it in. The alarm is three years old and the are no splicers in wiring. It's been a few days of working then going off at random. If I drive for a minute the alarm is good for a hour. Sometimes a day

![]() If it developed recently it could be multiple factors.
most common: bad ground bad door/hood/trunk pin It could be dead. but its more likely that it would just stop working. Take it to a shop that specializes in start/alarm. the last thing you should ever do is take it to a mechanic. they are programmed to say its broken and take it out. |

![]() I have one that is older and sometimes if I turn on the automatic function for the alarm it does this. Its supposed to sense when you are close to the vehicle but it does a really bad job of it and just goes off after a while. Just something to check out

![]() If u have to replace buy a astro start. In auto industry for years and by far the best, u will pay more but well worth it. I also found big box stores tend to have an extremely high turnover rate.these things are extremely complicated and if installed wrong can have devastating effects on your vehicle. Just my 2 cents good luck!
