How do you move the fixture front-to-back? Do you need to move the bolt into a new position or does it slide?

No they do not slide right now its only for fine adjustment the light should already be centered over your tank so the bolt can be removed and adjusted forwards or backwards for some finer adjustment.

However that is a good idea and I might have a slider incorporated.

I guess I should jump in here for a few answers to a couple questions if you don't mind Martin.

First , we have made the mount bracket for the light so it would be dead center of your tank provided you supply the proper measurements. If needed you can move the light forward or back 1".

Second, if we make the light bracket adjustable it might damage the paint causing it to rust eventually. We wanted to keep them simple to build with just a few supplied measurements & keep the cost the same for simplicity.

More customized brackets could be available but cost would be a little more, but Martin & I have not really discussed how to handle that situation yet.

TESTIMONIAL!

This is a great mount, I love the fact that I can raise it out of the way to tinker with things, and that it allows me to hide all the cables. Greg did an awesome job on this, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a nice clean way to mount their leds. its a great price too, as you will pay close to $90 for the mounting rails and suspension kits combined, and that kit doesnt allow for any cable managment.

Congrats Martin on a great new product, and to Greg as well, for perfecting the design
