Depends on how the black plastic trim is. If its flush to the bottom, then I would say yes. If it has that gap underneath, then no.

It is trimmed in plastic. I noticed last night that I could actually see a gap between the tank and the wood - hope that's ok. I had read someone's else's thread on the foam and with the trim its not needed.

There is foam under the sump, needs to be trimmed, but right now it covers the entire base of the stand.

Filling tank with water for leak test! Will start playing with rocks to see how things look for aquascaping, hopefully we're salty by the weekend!

I have picked up 80 lbs of live rock, 135 lbs of sand, ato, a heater, and more salt. Got the aquascaping done today, added the sand and am now filling the tank with ro water. My mp40 wet side has been replaced (thanks Dave) and I pulled my skimmer out of my 55, cleaned it (now soaking in vinegar to get the coralline off) and will get it in the sump tomorrow. We have some plumbing mods to do but nothing major. I have 60 lbs of live rock in my 55 that will get added after it cycles but still need approximately 40 lbs more. I also did a water change tonight and added that water.
This is what I'm starting with, is there anything I've missed? Should I add salt as the tank fills or wait?

Oh, I also picked up 3 radions, set for lights, just working on how to hang them.

Will post pics tomorrow.
Thanks
