Got a tiger pistol and dropped in a yellow goby paired by the morning but the ywg was a chicken **** and hid all the time so I never saw them but when I moved my ywg jumped so I got a metallic shrimp goby who happened to be theonly one not hiding and who had all his fins intact needless to say he is not scared at all and there always out

I still have this pair from last year. They are still going strong. I've had the shrimp for several years and the goby for over a year.

I added a 2nd high fin goby about 6 months ago as well. Shrimp and both gobies are doing well. The algae in the background is currently being mowed down by some urchins.

i have a pink spotted goby with a tiger pistol in my 33 gal. it took a bit of work to get them together. its been about 4 months now that they've been together. sometimes i dont see either of them for a week. sometimes i just see goby. then all of a sudden... there they are, all day long. that shrimp can sure move some sand! i think it was the best addition to my tank EVER! i love these guys.

I have had two pairs in the past that were both mated, just setup
a new with with another pair. Not to toot my own horn but my last pair
even made the reefing news- http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2004/11/aaeditorial

What do you need to know?

Its just that my pair have holed up completely since around last Thursday/Friday when i introduced the shrimp.

Just worried the goby will starve. Any thoughts?

Hi, I replied to your other yellow watchmen thread, this action is perfectly normal, especially when you have a trio. They are busy building and hiding in the burrow-no concern at all!
