![]() 220 is for a mild stocked tank. Yours is depending on if you have corals (judging by the angels not much) you are on the heavier side.
A lot of people recommend Vertex Skimmers for a good-bang-for-buck. |

![]() I have a vertex IN-180 and love it. Its what I would reccomend.
The Coralife is rated for 220 but its not designed very well. I would say it would be better suited on a 55-75 tank but even then there are better skimners out there for the same money.

![]() I have to agree with the guys above and I'll add that a lot of the lower end skimmers are over-rated.
You would definately do better with a higher-end skimmer rated above your tank size. You don't have to spend thousands. A good skimmer new for you would be $350-450 for say a Vertex or a Skimz. Even an SWC. Just buy bigger than rated for most and you will be fine. And stay away from the Coralife stuff with a tank your size. |
