The question really is... Are you willing to chance an unknown crab?

"should" is not guaranteed.

When in doubt... Take it out.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

I can try but he is always hidden. I only found him the second time by chance by disturbing my rock. If he hides in my main rocks which are all buried in the sand then I will most likely not find him.

Try baiting it out.

Somebody on here has some good tricks.

Anyone had a successful trapping to share here?

I have used crab traps in the ocean before with some raw chicken inside them and had good success.

If you want to catch him lean a glass in your tank on an angle so he can get it. Maybe near a rock face. Then put some shrimp in the cup, wait til morning and bins your uncle you should have a caught crab. If not repeat, you'll get him not sure if you have a sump but they are safe for sumps. Generally speaking

I actually went to the ID, it is under the Majoidea SuperFamily. It is on the last two of the various unknown species under that family.
