Removing Aquarium Paint?

Myself and Trigs are trying to strip the paint of a recently purchased tank (blue and on 3 sides). We are familiar with the traditional razor and elbow grease approach, but are there any ways for two slackers to go at it with half the work? Some solvent you have had luck with? Anything would be appreciated.

take you time, would suck to scratch the glass with the razor.
