![]() There are lots of threads out there about converting Aquclear 110's into HOB cubes. Hagen also has a HOB fish breeder that uses an airstone to pull water from the display tank into the breeder with a gentle flow and no chance of shredding pods in the impeller of a powerhead. It comes in different sizes and is pretty cheap. There are lots of commercial ones as well such as CPR and Eshopps but for more money.

![]() +1 Aquaclears make nice DIY refugium, depends on the size of tank you have though.

![]() Couldnt tell ya, but I would assume probably close to the same, I am sure you could even find a used aquaclear 110 for less, all you need is the filter canister, and motor really. I mean I have one laying around, but I am putting it on my cichlid tank haha, other wise, i would sell it to you for the cost of the new motor lol..

![]() look around first at ready made ones like those by CPR, etal. If you decide you want to make one out a 110 let me know as I have one that I only used for about 8 months and its just taking up space right now. I'm not trying to sell you anything though so do some digging first to see what direction you want to go with.
