I've even contemplated converting it to freshwater and going with discus or SA or CA cichlids. Holy Crap! I can't believe I just said that.
Planted tank with a giant school of Rummy Nose. Google Spencer Jack, he is the king of cichlids and stocks a ton of fish.

Yeah, I've seen his website before. He has a good reputation here in Canada. I was considering a planted tank if I go with discus, but not with a South American cichlids tank though; too much hassle to keep them from uprooting the plants.

How about a paludarium, I've always wanted to set up one. It could look pretty awesome with a corner tank

I feel sick participating in any of this discussion but holy crap that light through the hole in the rock ceiling look is AMAZING!

Good luck Lance!

For anyone interested a spot may become available on my friends list in the near future.

Sell the 90g down grade to a 30(ish)g cube tank and fill it with lots of cool little gobies/blenny's and maybe pipefish or seahorse. I have to say I'm enjoying my 34g cube watching the yasha and pistol shrimp and my pipefish. Yesterday I put some mysis in and the pipefish got it then the yasha zipped out and tried to grab it from the pipefish but the pipefish held onto it. Then the yasha realized there was more mysis and he grabbed another piece of it. Was hilarious to watch, wish I had my camera ready to capture the moment.

I dont wanna offend any of our freshwater friends here but, I sorta agree with this sentiment.....going back to fresh now would be like going from full 1080p HD to black and white

Oh oh. Starting to show a little SW snobishness! That will open up a spot on my friend's list for someone who is already famous and not just "soon enough".

Hey, that might be an idea Marie. They are pretty cool. I don't know a whole lot about them but that's what makes it fun right?
