![]() Thanks for the links and the advice so far! Really appreciate it!
I have just purchased a psychedelic mandarin...would that eat them? (I know its sorta like dependent on individual mandarin but I've only read that green mandarins will eat red planaria...is that true? Do I need to get a sixline wrasse?) My reef tank setup: running 8 months 90 Gallon 1 regal blue tang 2 false perculas 1 bicolor dottyback 1 psychedelic mandarin 1 blue spotted jawfish 1 diamond goby 2 cleaner shrimps hermit crabs and snails, 1 x pompom crab, 1 x emerald crab 1 x tuxedo urchin It just occured to me I have a refugium and that maybe where the red planaria are coming from? Should I get rid of it? Thanks everyone! |

![]() No dont get rid of your refugium. As cool as 6 line wrasses are most of them turn in to huge wrasseholes as they get older. Bluetang gave you some good suggestions.

![]() HAHA "wrasseholes"
Thanks for the advice all. That Melanurus Wrasse looks amazing...I'm asuming that's gonne become a wrassehole too? Too bad...so pretty! I'm worried the yellow coris wrasse will not get along with Mr. Bicolor Dottyback...he's a real jerk to all the newcomers into the tank(though he's left the Mandarin alone) |

![]() I know my 6 line wrasse can take car of himself against a much bigger tang. Plus hes faster too if he needs to run

![]() Ya they may getted harassed by the dottyback but it pobably wont last long. If you have a fine sand bed it's a good thing for the mentioned wrasses as they can hide out in the sandbed if chased. 6 lines just dont give in until whatever they hate dies, I have a dottyback that usually gives up the chase after a couple of days.

![]() My sixline is big. I can't add new fish, but he bothers nothing in my tank.... Not even flatworms.

I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds. ![]() |
