yeah im trying sketchup i dont need to take a course to learn anything difficult and so far sketchup is doing ok some frustration but all in all it will give the general idea and help with my design

Sketch-up is the best for someone who is not a draftsman already.

(I hate it personally but that is because I am a ACAD & Revit user, and think like a draftsman)

ACAD is good, but it takes quite a bit to learn how to use it properly. That comes from someone that has taught many people to use it, and that was re-teaching ones from college.

I use Blender and Rhino3D. I love Blender and it is Free! I know Rhino but it can be costly if you don't have access.

if i had a drafting tabeid just draw the thing that way i find that easier...
