I've found that the colour of my skimmate is directly related to the colour of the pellets I feed.

Some more than others... Cyclopeeze, formula 2, spirulina brine, and tetra colour pellets are some of the ones you notice more. Foods like prime reef flakes from ocean nutrition have a pretty bland color to them, so you won't notice it as much. Also Markod, start feeding a bit of variety... Nls pellets are great, but variety is the spice of life. Hikari is releasing a new couple of foods into our market January. Keep a watch for them, very clean pellets and the fish love em.

To me it looks like some algae concentrated in there. Maybe some green/blue cyanobacterias? They can be quite colorful. As long as there is none in the water that is concentrated enough to be visible I would not worry.
Are you dosing any carbon?
