Electronic ph meter Which brand do you like

I like my Hanna waterproof pH meter. The probe is 4 years old or so, and I haven't had to replace it yet. Cheap ones you will replace the probe every 2 years or more even. Accuracy is +/- 0.05 and is temperature compensated.

How do you store it? I read that you have to buy special storage solution?
What do you use?

I store it dry. The instructions for this particular meter don't mention storing in a solution, so I don't. Although I do know that is pretty typical for other meters. I have heard lots of people replacing probes on the Pinpoint Monitor, but don't take that as gospel. Look into it a bit more maybe...? I had a cheap Pinpoint handheld meter, and the probe didn't last a year. That one said to store in Pinpoint storage solution, so that's what I did. It also said you could store it in the pH 7 calibration solution (I think it was the 7). Btw, order calibration solution when you order a meter. Get pH 7.0 and pH 10.0 to calibrate for saltwater (the 4.0 is for freshwater).
