I did work in Fort Mac a couple of years ago and we had a couple of guys from Newfoundland doing some work for us. My boss met up with them with questions - they had a discussion between themselves, my boss could not understand a word they said, turned to him and spoke perfectly fine. They knew he wouldn't understand them, but everyone laughed about it....Like the English, there's the cockney for the north, proper in the south...the east and the west...plus everything in between.

same here worked in ft mac for a couple years and one day our crew was talking with this old fella and he started on a sentence and after about 20 words everyone looked at me to translate....i just bust out laughing as i didnt understand a word lol
