Thanks man, haha it's one of about 100 attempts. I had to switch cameras too, the first one I used just utterly spooked him, not sure what was up with that, I think he was seeing the focus beam or something.

its a beautiful pic and an awesome fish, i tried to get some pics the other night of a hitch hiker crab and i got the same results the focus light spooked him and he only comes out at night so hes a tricky bugger lol i take maybe a 100 pics just to get one lol im still learning the camera part of the hobby finally invested in a tri pod and im getting better for sure
