Bone Cutters

I get mine from my aunt who is a nurse. they only use them so many times on people then dispose of them. I get the odd one.

Really? they use that on people to cut bones? I am scared to think in what circonstances they would need to use such tool.

Usually for opening ribs to get at heart and lungs when needed.

Old surgical tools are just creepy , if you want non creepy tools you can get those cutters in a 5 inch size from superstore or walmart as cutical cutters in the makeup section .

cutical cutters are not the same as bone cutters and a lot smaller, mind you I have a set of thoes also for smaller stuff. another good way to get stuff is ask your dentist if he has any old rasps and picks you can have. I got a set for the garage and for my tank

they work good for picking algae out of plug bases and such.

Mine broke while attempting to cut an acropora...

To replace them I bought one of these a year ago. So far they seem to be much more resistant to corrosion. http://www.blueworldaquariums.com/pr...p?prod=1254456

Hope your fingers didn't get in the way when that let go ouch.

Those boston aquafarm cutters look killer. Mine have slid out of my hand a few times... that bridge between both handles gives you a bit more to hold onto when you're angling your attack.
