![]() Wrasses are exceptionally good hiders. If you have sand he could even be buried in the sand somewhere.
I had a lubbock's wrasse that hid so amazingly well I gave him up for gone after 2-3 weeks. It was something like 5-6 *months* later that one day I saw his face poke out of a rock in a spot I didn't even realize had a hole that deep. It was like getting a fish for free all of a sudden and no need to acclimate or worry about the 3 days of hazing rituals that the fish always seem to do to new guys. ![]()
