I bought a gold coral banded shrimp a few months ago for the simple reason of I always wanted one. Might have been my worst purchase ever although he only cost $15 and doesn't do any damage to anything in the tank. He's 100% nocturnal. The only time I ever see him is when I turn my room lights on in the morning. Then he runs for cover and doesn't come out untill dark.

I have had them over the years. Though I have never witnessed them doing anything nasty, personally, but:
They are territorial. To keep two in one tank, even 110G, maybe too many. They will search each other out one day and try to chase/destroy each other. As for the shrimps, they may attack them for the same reasons. If you would like to try them anyway, I'd only have one. They don't come out. Most time only thing you see in your tank that indicates that they are still alive are their white whiskers. They don't ever come out for me. Consequently, when they passed away, I didn't even realized until one day, no whiskers... Good luck.
