It's time-consuming and I usually return 2 or 3 times: - staring blankly at the parts on the shelf - sifting through mixed up bins - creating new ways to get from A to B when they are missing that key piece - consulting your drawing you brought - hunting down a sales guy to cut some hose if needed - laying parts out on the floor like a weirdo - staring blankly (again) at the parts on the shelf |

![]() I didnt realize that people were cutting pipes with a saw.
![]() I picked one of these up ages ago, and they work great! Not as slick as a powered version, but it was only $10. I think it was from Princess Auto, but Totem and I imagine Home Depot, Rona, etc would all have them.

![]() If you had a few dozen cuts of 1.5" and 2" pipe though, you'd switch to a chopsaw too.
![]() But I agree the hand cutters trump a hacksaw.

![]() Did a power out situation (I don't have the loc-line pieces I need to raise the water level higher) to make sure the sump wouldn't over flow, needless to say I have an inch to spare, cutting it close though.

![]() Added salt
![]() ![]() Which raised the water level a lot more then I thought it would. The black line is where the water level was, and I drew an arrow to show where the level rose to. ![]()
