How stable do you keep your temperature?

My heater has never even been plugged in. Summer time my tank almost hit 90 so in went the chiller. Now that it winter and my in floor heat is on I still need the chiller but it does not work as hard.

90g: 77.5 to 79 summer: 77.5 to 79

LED's dont seem to add any heat what so ever and the profilux keeps the temp stable.... almost flat line stable.

I'm certainly not selling my chiller I'll say that. It's underpowered for the volume I run now but I need to see how things work in the summer. Basement will still be cool but it's safe to assume not quite as cool.

Someone was over yesterday and when I explained how the ranco worked and that i didn't want to run a chiller due to energy use they reminded me of my lighting. guess i gotta try where i can tho

I've never seen my tank above 81/82 and that was at the tail end of a heatwave, stands to reason because you have more water volume and lower wattage lighting you should be fine.
