sorry to say, you're pretty much done in the hobby already. The ONLY was to succeed is by asking forgiveness, not permission....

Here's a tip...you have a new baby right? Children benefit from having a tank in the house. They learn about nature, they learn patience by sitting and watching quietly, they even breath better.

"Honey, we NEED all this stuff for the baby!!"

Trust me.....

lol yeah I proved that theory to her! Our little guy was screaming and crying so I threw on the lights on the cichlid tank (4am BlahhH) sat down with him, got him focused, and boom he shut up. lol they really are a must have, its a little bit more work to keep up with when you have a new born, but as you said I am in the hobby (i think thats what you meant lol) and I have all this stuff no sense in quitting, just less time to relax haha

lol mines reef safe she just hates the cost of things with a baby!! haha but so do i, luckily you dont have to buy it over and over. I have a turbo snail, I thought he was covered in small barnacles, turned out hes covered in small feather dusters, he's probably the best cleaner/filter feeder in my tank haha
