![]() These days I'm feeding Acan Plus, Pacifica plankton, Mysis and NL spectrum pellets. Fish, corals, worms , crabs, everyone seems happy.

![]() Depends on the coral:
zoanthids: chromaplex, reefroid, coral frenzy, fauna marin Palythoas: frozen cyclopeeze (they eat), chromaplex etc... SPS: Zeovit amino acid, sponge power, reefroid, coral frenzy LPS: frozen cyclopeeze, mysis and all the rest non-photosynthetic like sun coral or dendro: cyclop, mysis, brine, eggs, pretty much any food in small chunk.

![]() Mine eat fish poop too with the exception of two open brain corals who get New Era LPS pellets otherwise they bleach.
Remember, the more you feed your corals, the more they poop. Yes, corals poop too which means more nutrients. Imo, don't feed unless you have to. |

![]() so if we are talking about feeding, than lets also ask, do you experiance in coral growth and development/color when you feed ore not feed.
I never fed my corals, maybr once in a while, but always wondered, if I should do more, ore not even feeding the green algea, I considdered, but as culturing them is a big hassle, I never got to that, as I did not know it there was lots of added benefit so if you write that you feed, pleas also incloud your experiance with the development part, thanks |

![]() I found my Duncan coral grew much faster when I fed it a few mysis a few times a week. Same with RBTAs. Nothing else grows any faster or has any color changes in my tank (brains, Candy canes, Acans, Euphyllia).

![]() Acan Plus to my acans every 2 - 4 days. Mysis once a week unless I feel like treating the fish too twice a week. I dont feed the zoas or the hammer but I am sure they grab what they can after the pumps scream back on.
With acan plus I have noticed my acans really have grown and are especially puffed up the day after feeding |

![]() I feed my fish and by doing so I indirectly feed my coral by providing them with dissolved organic waste, uneaten food, and naturally occurring phytoplankton and zooplankton. While I'm sure it helps to do some deliberate feeding it is by no means necessary.

![]() It's not so expensive because the little pot of coralfrenzy and reefroid have lasted me for nearly a year and I still have half. It does not take much
![]() I have noticed a lot of growth when I feed Chromaplex. Of all the food I give to my zoanthids, Chromaplex is the one I can't do without if I want my zoanthids to grow, and for the paly target feeding with cyclopeeze as well. I had a frag of beautiful zoanthids with very long flashy orange tentacles in my nano and they were growing like weeds. After I was out of Chromaplex I did not buy more and after a white I saw my zoanthids slow down their growth and just stop growing totally. From huge colony of that orange zoa, I was left with only one polyp as they were not doing so well and were slowly in decline. I decided to move it into my 75 gallons in hope of saving it but to no avail..it was not mutiplying. Then I read an article on specialists growing zoanthids and they recommanded Chromaplex (wish I could find that site again!). I then remebered that when I was using it my zoa were growing well and I bought it again...What did I have to lose? Now that single orange polyp have multiplied to about 50+ in a few months and I have sold a few frags of it already. Maybe it is a coincidence? dunno but heck..that's what hapened. The Zeovit amino acid did a good difference in my SPS coloration.
