Vodka contains carbon and many sugars, which bacteria breaks down into a compound that can easily be removed by your skimmer.

Brandon, how are you adding that. Single dose/day or throughout the day adding small amounts.

But then again your theory makes sense too hahaha :P Ive noticed thay my pipefish have been cruising the tank a lot more. I would definititley recommend dosing to anyone whos had there tank set up for atleast 6 months.

Its a single dose a day. I just dilute it in enough water to fill my syringe, then spray it right into high flow. I guess theoretically you could make your own drip system, turn a 1 liter bottle upside down, cut a small hole in the lid and stick some air hose through, silicone and seal it off, tie the hose to a slow drip. I geuss that would be an option.
