no, I've always been like this. In fact, the kids have settled me a bit

but ya, it could drive one to be a bit crazy.
24yo daughter
20yo daughter
18yo daughter
20 month old daughter
3 month old grandson.
4 crazy dogs.
1 hot young wife

I'm probably not going to live much longer, and certainly have a room reserved in hell, but life has been, well, interesting -lol

The best part of being a parent though is annoying the kids. They're all jealous, I'm going surfing in Costa Rica in 3 weeks, and they're not -HaHa...
