My Coral Beauty Loves them. I used to have LOTS, and they've been toasted. I think I got lucky, he hasn't touched anything else except for a dieing pocci.

Now that I think of it....it's been about 3-4 months since my Sixline wrasse went MIA.....maybe he was keeping them in check?

They are really hard to control and will eventually take over your zoas. A sixline wont eat them. The only thing that worked for me and I still have to control them, is too scrub the hell out of them with a really stiff brush. I found that the thickest brush I could find was a denture brush.

IME, this coral seems to pop up in my tank when I let my nitrates get out of control...
It seems to show up along with hair algae within my system when I've been neglecting water maintenance... anyone else find this to be the case? If so, should be your nitrates you're looking to control rather than the polyps.
