what I do is transfer as much water in to buckets and place fish in buckets of water and corals in buckets of water I also keep my LR in buckets of water.I tend to have a few salt buckets around the house. They have lids and if it is going to take some time you can put a small power head in with the fish and a heater also, a little over the side filter does well also then you don't need the power head. I would upgrade to a 49g bowfront you would like it get one with a over flow, your light will fit it perfect.

So as much as I'd like to upgrade it's not in the budget : (
I went and bought a 21 gal rubbermade and put an overflow bulkhead in it. I'll most likely just use it for extra water volume and dosing/top up chamber. Gives me a 60 gallon system now though. Yay. Going to start the buckets filling now. Pics later
