Let's you play around with different configurations very easily. Put your refugium after your skimmer or you just end up skimming out the little critters you are trying to make. add a few baffles (over-under baffles) to remove bubbles before going into the return section.

So.... If im reading all this right I should drill the hole for my skimmer on the left side right under the "in" pipes and put a bubble trap set of baffles in front of that chamber as well as infront of the pump bulkhead and my refugium should stay put?...?

I ordered the glass for monday, 12" water depth should be ok i hope...
im going to put one infront of the first chamber to get the water in the refugium to 12" then a bubble trap infront of the pump intake.... probably 3" away? or should I give it more space?

Just thought i would double check with an autocad incase anyone sees a flaw.... i have 4 pcs of glass planning on using 3. One next to the chamber and 2 on the other end next to the return pump.... at a water depth of 12"

Also any restrictions to how far away from the bulkhead I should go with the bubbletrap infront of the inline? will it cause it to drain to quick and make more bubbles?
