I wish I had a par meter, would love to compair the two. Use to only run Blue Life SPS bulbs and the $90+ price tag per bulb. And then I saw the ebay ones, and I thought $9 plus shipping a bulb was well worth the risk!! Only took a little over 2 weeks to ship them, and when I put them in, they fired right up and very happy with the results. Tank now looks a little on the purple side for my liking, but the corals seems to love them, both the softies and the SPS. So now I am going to place another order for 2 spare bulbs because of the leed time to get them, and replace the bulbs every 6 months. Just my 2 cents worth, but in the end if the corals are happy and growing, think it was well worth the risk for the savings to the good old pocket book.
