Sorry but I disagree as it depends mainly on one's system, I have kept them yellow and have friends acheive the same result. If you look in the link below (sorry you'll have to go through lot's of pictures) you will see a bright yellow mille I used to have and although it had some green hues, over all it was mostly yellow.

I don't think I would personally call either millepora true yellow. Your old millepora was getting close near the middle up but still a shade of green to me. Plus if the polyps were out in that pic I'm certain it would only look more green. I believe this is what you called your highlighter millepora. Looking at the picture on your website I see even more green (probably more polyps as well) and you list it as green/yellow. True yellow is very hard to find IMO, but everyone sees colour a little differently. Those are both nice millepora though either way.....and I'm not saying they are the run of the mill green.

I will add though that millepora especially have a tendency to darken up after being in an aquarium for some time. Fact is sometimes it seems like yellow millepora get shipped in but in all the cases I have seen to date they darken up and become more green over time in the aquarium because they were just a little bleached from shipping.

This is my experience anyway....and I have been proven wrong before.

Yellow is very dependent on Po4, nitrate and to some extent iron. As most people find it difficult to keep Po4 and nitrate at true undetectable levels, while keeping iron just right, true yellow are hard to maintain. Corals will fluctuate from green-yellow depending on how consistent you keep these parameters.

Why is it the last 3 times I have posted stuff for sale Canreef sends out a message saying they are shutting down that weekend? You guys need to start doing your maintanence in the wee hours like everybody else does so it has less of an impact!

If people need to talk to me tomorrow (Oct 1) please call 403-278-5751 since Canreef will be shut down for most of the afternoon.

Well Greg, if I'd ordered the last three times, you could suspect an evil plot to keep all the goodies, but alas, it's just poor luck. Next time, send Titus a PM and tell him not to mess with your sale! Hell, I just like looking at the pics, some awesome stuff you got there!
